5.0 out of 5 stars FINALLY ROGER WILLIAMS RELEASED FROM THE VAULTS, June 4, 2004
By Rob Wilcox (Los Angeles, CA) - my reviews
For the first time on one CD, two Roger Williams albums in their original form. Williams is the greatest selling popular pianist in history, with 38 Billboard charted albums--18 of them gold or platinum.

"Till" and "Near You" were both Billboard hit singles which were a follow-up to Williams' mammoth hit of "Autumn Leaves." The wonderful bonuses are all the great Williams arrangements and performances, never before on CD, on such classics as "Catch A Falling Star," "Volare," "Deep Purple," and "St. Louis Blues."

Nobody caresses and finesses a song like Roger Williams. What's amazing is that Williams actually plays the words on these instrumentals.

These two albums are testament to Williams 60 year career, which is going stronger than ever as he tours the world on the eve of his 80th birthday this October.

5.0 out of 5 stars Mr Piano !, November 7, 2004
By Hiram Gomez Pardo (Valencia, Venezuela) - my reviews
(TOP 100 REVIEWER)    (REAL NAME)
Roger Williams has been much more than a simple piano player . He is to the instrumental music what Sinatra means for the crooners . Simply the best.
This selection is just the top of the iceberg of that unequal interpreter of the easy listening music .
I expect the new releases of the best of Forties, Fifties and Sixties .
Forget about other pianist who can match with his class , charm , style and refinemnt .
That's why he is Mr. Piano.

5.0 out of 5 stars Till: Near You - Roger Williams, July 8, 2004
By Pauline Vang (Rochester, New York United States) - my reviews
It's exciting to have these two great albums by Roger Williams on
one CD in addition to the great quality now provided for our
listening pleasure. Not only is it great to hear Roger's great
arrangements of favorites such as "Till", "Near You", "April Love", "It's All in the Game" and "September Song", but also the
special feeling with which he plays such songs as "Young and
Warm and Wonderful", "Fascination" and "Moonlight Love". Here is
an artist with a special talent - playing the actual words to the music and feeling the meaning to each song. This is no doubt
the main reason - second only to his masterful artistry at the
keyboard - that has kept him at the top of the list as the
country's #1 Pop Pianist for over 50 years. And he's still go-
ing strong, doing what he loves best, at age 80! Way to go,
Roger Williams!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Fine remastering, however..
It's wonderful to have these two albums reissued. The remastering is excellent; piano timbre is realistic and the balances are fine.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Roger Williams MUST HAVE
I listened to this 'album' when I was a young girl as my family played it often. Now that I am a grown woman, it is wonderful to hear it again, playing in my home.

4.0 out of 5 stars Roger Williams toca esplendidamente. Lastima el sonido
Siempre ha tocado bellamente el piano, lo admiro. Esta por fin es una reuníon de dos LPs, que ojala se repita en tantos albumes que hizo.
