International pressing of the band's 2005 album. Do Me Bad Things is a nine piece rock band that sound like Queens Of The Stone Age having a tussle with Electric Six, Mary J Blige and Fleetwood Mac. WEA.
Listener Reviews & Comments Ok I'm not sure what I meant by the title but holy smokes this band rocks. It gives your brain a mind melding experience by throwing EVERY genre it knows at you. I'm listening to the song "What's Hideous" right now. It starts with a keyboard riff that could have been written by the Scissor Sisters and then throws it down into something AC/DC would have been proud of. It slows down half a minute later into a sunshine pop song that sounds like the Gospel Choir from Sister Act. Meanwhile Mary J Blige and Dave Grohl (foo fighters) are singing over it. Back to that slow pop song except theres a wicked guitar solo and a sax solo that Coltrane would have been proud of. Back to the banging keyboard of the Scissor Sisters and straight into a screaming mess that KISS would love to be a part of. End it with a Beastie Boys-esque shout. And thats just one song. I know it sounds like a mess. But you gotta give it a listen. If you can't decide between Alicia Keys and Queen of the Stone Age, pick this album up. If you appreciate jazz, pop, rock, soul, blues, metal, r'n'b you'll appreciate this.
