I purchased this CD thinking it would be more or less like the original sound track of the "Victory At Sea" TV series. It falls short in that respect. The music on this CD is of very good quality from a classical point of view but only track 10 called "Victory At Sea" which lasts 11 minutes is what I consider to be true music from the TV series and movie. The rest of the music has a nautical theme but looking at the front label makes you think you are getting all "Victory At Sea" selections. I would not purchase this CD if the sound track music is what you are looking for. If you just want good military band music with a hint of the "Victory at Sea" theme then this would probably be a good buy. Comment | Permalink | (Report this)
