Sean Ardoin's ZydeKool sound is at once propulsive and irresistible, filled with pop hooks and driving dance beats. Many see him as the future of zydeco, and a natural to crossover to a wider audience. Sean wrote, arranged and produced every cut on "Home Brew" – in addition to singing and playing both accordion and drums – as he did on "Pullin." His inventive compositions build on the legacy of zydeco innovators such as Beau Jocque and Boozoo Chavis, and local favorites such as Keith Frank, while showcasing Seans innovative vocal arrangements and his funk and R&B influences.
