This is a disc which ably demonstrates the superb sound quality of Super Audio CD. The tracks to my ears have mixed success musically. However, the third track "Never Too Late" is a distinct cut above the rest and has become one of my very favourites, with its complex shifting harmonies showing what Jarreau is really capable of. My particular copy is SACD only, which means it doesn't work on normal CD players.
