Features Antonio Farao (piano), Miroslav Vitous (double bass), Daniel Humair (drums). A tribute full of class by this masterful trio to the great controversial film director, Pier Paolo Pasolini. A poet, novelist, playwright, literary critic, essayist and polemicist, Pasolini was probably the most loved and most hated intellectual in Italy in that period. A crucial figure in Italian 20th century culture, savagely murdered in 1972. Cam Jazz. 2005.

Listener Reviews & Comments If you have ears and brain and heart, this beautiful music will delight and transport you. Piano, bass and drums, complex yet accessible, it tastes like a $100 feast that is worth every penny. There is not a single boring note - every track is perfectly fascinating. I know nothing of the three musicians (except that Miroslav Vitous once played in Weather Report), or of the Pasolini who inspired this album, so I write this strictly in appreciation of the music and in the hope that these words will inspire others to buy it and raise its Amazon sales from its current beyond-Pluto rank of #417,688. Like so many of the best discoveries, this one was completely accidental. Now you can get lucky too!
