This is a tremendous value, considering how many of his "standard" pieces are represented. If you want an introduction to Tommy, this is a good choice. Endless Road would be my other recommendation. I found the musicality to be first rate, yet the mixdown suffered from what I assume was less than ideal recording environment. Tommy plays through a small stage setup with his eq/reverb being pretty much self-contained, and this recording sounds like they got the house mix rather than a more suitable master. Not to worry, you'll enjoy every minute of it. That's why I gave it 5 stars.
