Listener Reviews & Comments The element that strikes me most on this bass album, is the incredibly rich tone of Jimmy's bass playing at all corners of the electric bass spectrum, fretted, fretless and both at the high end top as well as at the low end bottom. Usually starting from a killer groove, supported by drum aces like Gary Novak and Dave Weckl, the challenging and interesting compositions move into nice melodies and excellent solos of the various musicians that contribute to this album, like Deron Johnson and David Batteau. I would not categorize this as fusion, but as fusion and far beyond. The vibe and energy level of this album is at some tracks almost unlimited, where all musicians really can play they heart out. If making music is about fun then this album is one of the best examples of this statement.
