His solo performance on 'Tour De Force' sounds as modern today as it possibly could've in the twenties,when he first became a "name" while playing with Louis Armstrong.This really takes off with a unique take on 'Mack The Knife'-and Hines' unique style delivers the rest of the great standards on this cd-without letup.
