You can get this much cheaper at amazon.co.uk or other european cd cyberstore. Now, this is my brand of jazz! That 'ornette/Cherry/northen europe folk' thing going on in here. With Bobo Stenson (demostrating he was already a monster at the piano back in the 70s), Palle Danielsson (famous for various ecm sessions), Bengt Berger (collaborated with Don Cherry, plays in Ecm's 'Bitter funeral Beer band', and i beleive he was a member of the Archimedes Badkar group), Lennart Aberg (pretty great sax player) and Leroy Lowe...the only player unknown to me but he's excellent on 'Inside - outside' which is the second of the 2 lps represented in this'collection'. Can't miss if you yearn for free-ish yet organized type of jazz which has nods towards Ornette, Cherry, Haden, Arild Andersen, 70s Garbarek, etc.
