This review is from: Keepin' out of Mischief Now (Audio CD) I first heard Art Hodes piano works in the 1960s, and his funky, hesitating style was an influence on me and a reason I wanted to learn to play. He recently came to my attention through some link at Amazon, and I bought 3 of his cds. This is is my favoriterecorded when he was in his 80s, and at the perfection of his style. The songs are piano solos, no words or other instruments, which allows the listener to really concentrate on each note, and particularly his sense of timing. A real treat!
